The Firm Particulars
Our accounting firm was founded in Nanaimo 22 years ago (prior to that Mr. Ruffle spent 13 years in Prince George). Our firm has a total personnel of twelve. Two partners, 1 CGA, 1 CGA student, 1 CA Student and 7 support staff. In addition we have resource personnel available to us from a national accounting firm to assist us on any matters relating to additional personnel required or expertise in the field.

The Position
You will be responsible for assisting team members in all areas of client service.  As an articling student you will prepare financial statements and supporting documents as well as personal and corporate tax returns and conduct audit procedures.  Experienced team members are committed to helping you develop your technical skills by providing guidance as well as regular feedback on your progress through formal and informal work evaluations.

The Candidate
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is pursuing a professional accounting designation.  A Bachelor of Commerce, Management or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting or Finance is essential.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as excellent communication and client service skills are considered assets.  Eligibility to enroll I the CA School of Business is required.
